General terms and conditions
The general conditions apply to reservations made via www.casayoyosa-javea.com.
During your stay, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions below. If you have any questions about booking with us, please contact us before making a reservation.
Reservations and payments
Casa Yoyosa offers its guests the opportunity to make a reservation online. Payment is possible via online payment. To place a reservation with us, the main guest must be at least 21 years old.
The maximum number of staying guests per room is shown in the room occupancy details on the website.
If the person making the reservation is different from the main guest taking the occupancy, the person making the reservation may be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages as set out. Only the main guest and the named co-guest are allowed to use the accommodation and associated facilities. Under no circumstances will guests other than the paying guests be admitted.
To guarantee a reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total reservation amount must be paid immediately. If you book within 15 days before the arrival date, the total booking amount must be paid. Minimum number of nights to reserve is 3 or more and is subject to different seasons as indicated in the reservation calendar.
Cancellation, deposit and non-arrival conditions
Guests who need to cancel a reservation should contact us as soon as possible. Deposits already paid will only be returned in accordance with the following conditions;
Cancellation up to 14 days before arrival date: full refund.
Cancellation 14 days to 7 days before arrival date: 50% refund of the total booking amount
Cancellation 7 days or less before arrival date: no refund, full payment due.
No-show: no refund, full payment due.
It is recommended that you take out appropriate holiday and/or cancellation insurance. In the rare event that we have to cancel your reservation with us, please note that we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control.
All guests agree to respect the privacy and tranquillity of all other guests, neighbours and the owners at all times. We reserve the right to cancel a reservation with immediate effect if guests fail to honour this agreement or cause a nuisance to other guests, neighbours or the owners.
Parties and other group gatherings are not allowed unless you have received express permission from the owner in advance.
Check-in Check-out
Guests must check in and out at the times listed below;
Check-in: from 16:00 to 19:00. Outside these hours by appointment with a surcharge of 20 euros.
Check-out: from 08:00 to 10:00 on the day of departure.
Late check-out: between 10:00 and 14:00 on request if available with a surcharge of 30 euros.
Supplements must be paid in cash or will be deducted from the deposit.
Security deposit
For use of our appartments, you as the main guest are required to pay a security deposit for any damage caused during the stay by the main guest or his/her fellow guest. This includes breakages, stains, damage to objects, furniture, appliances, fixtures/fittings and loss of keys.
The amount of the deposit is 250 euros per appartment. This amount must be paid in cash on arrival.
We also request your credit card details, which will be destroyed when the apartment is left in good condition.
You must be able to identify yourself on arrival by means of a valid passport or identity card.
Any damage in any form will be deducted from the security deposit. Any other damage higher than the deposit will be charged.
If no damage to and/or loss of property of Casa Yoyosa is detected, the deposit will be refunded to the principal guest in cash at the end of the stay.
Lost property
If keys of Casa Yoyosa are lost, a fee of 35 euros per key will be charged.
Any lost property, if discovered and found, left behind by guests during a stay, will be held for a period of 1 month.
We accept no responsibility in replacing lost items. We offer to send any lost items via (registered) delivery at the guest's expense.
Swimming pool and BBQ
We would like guests to be able to swim in a clean and clear swimming pool. We do our utmost to ensure this.
As a guest, before using the pool, you agree to use the on-site shower to remove body and/or sunscreen as much as possible.
Beach towels for use at the beach or poolside at Casa Yoyosa should always be brought by yourself and are compulsory when using the beach chairs provided by the pool and appartments.
Due to local and regional regulations, the barbecue may not be used in the period from 15 May to 15 October. This is due to high fire risk during this period.
WiFi policy
Where WiFi internet access is provided, guests accept that such internet access is used fairly and appropriately.
The internet access provided is intended for general use, such as internet access, email, messaging, social media, light video/music/media streaming.
It is not intended or suitable for heavy media streaming, online gaming, extensive downloads/uploads.
Accessing illegal activities or using our network for illegal activities is prohibited and will be reported to local authorities.
Smoking
Casa Yoyosa and the both appartments is smoke-free. Smoking inside is therefore absolutely not allowed. Outside, on your own terrace, you can smoke, but please ensure that ashtrays are used and ensure that no nuisance is caused to other guests.
Air conditioning and other electricity use
You agree to turn off air conditioners and/or fans when you are not using the respective rooms or when you are absent, and that you do not use air conditioners in combination with open windows or doors. This is because electricity is very expensive in Spain and, moreover, by doing so you are contributing to a better environment.
Prices you pay for the apartment include air conditioning, wifi and electricity (up to 70 kW/h per week). Above that €0.35 per kW/h, to be deducted from the deposit.
Pets
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
Parking
Where on-site parking is permitted, guests accept to park their vehicles at their own risk.
Rubbish
Rubbish should be taken by yourself to municipal waste collection points at the bottom of the urbanisation, at the entrance to the 'El Rafalet' neighbourhood.
To avoid nuisance from animals such as ants as much as possible, we advise you to dispose of your rubbish daily during your stay as well.
Final cleaning
Before checking out, the appartment will be checked.
You are responsible for the daily cleaning of your appartment.
Guests undertake to leave the appartment broom-clean and in complete, tidy condition.
This means that you should clean the fridge and put it back to setting 1. No food residues, bottles and cans should be left behind. The dishwasher should be left empty and clean.
Rubbish should be taken (in advance) to the municipal waste collection point.
Garden and other furniture should be returned to the place where you found it on arrival.
If the apartment is left excessively dirty and/or not in the same condition (with damage) as when you arrived, we may deduct the extra costs for cleaning from the deposit and/or charge you for these costs.
Your personal data and privacy
We are required to keep records of guests over 18 years of age staying with us, this includes full names and nationality, and/or passport numbers, place of issue. This is in accordance with the (Immigration (Hotel records) Order 1972).
This data is kept for a minimum of 12 months and in accordance with the DPA (Data Protection Act 1998) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Our policy regarding the personal data you provide as part of a booking or enquiry through this website / or third-party website, including the privacy of that data, is explained and set out in our privacy policy.
Our right of cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any reservation without compensation or refund if the terms and conditions as set out are breached.
